FOFA #274 - What a Crappy Week - 03.12.07

People, we have not had a good week here on the Feast of Fools! Today Miss Ronnie comes over to share the bad news of general gloom and doom in the world today and in our own lives.
The war is still going on, wasting millions of dollars and lives, the economy is shit, Miss Ronnie got a C+ on her exam, Elvis is dead, and Marc's not feeling that good himself.
We were at the gym doing squats, trying to get buffed when Marc seemed to have a panic attack, his heart beating quickly and furriously. (He's okay now, thank you.)
Listen today as Marc, Ronnie and Fausto chat about Beards making a fashion comeback, hot guys on our Frappr map, celebrities that will not die, and Texas cops arresting people in BARS for being drunk.
To make everyone feel better picture to the right is Scott Madsen the original Soloflex Poster boy who's ad campaign launched a whole new way of looking at the male body in advertising. He was the subject of many a gay teen fantasies (he certainly was mine.)
We don't make this stuff up... well at least most of it.

I don't like these old airdate shows. Since I am new to the podcast (2 weeks), can any tell me if they EVER have shows that are recent? I am really hoping that they are on vacation or something because otherwise I will be forced to unsubscribe.

Are these shows always so fucking old????

There is no need to be so nasty. FOF is on hiatus for the moment because of a death in the family. Please try to be respectful and patient.

Christ Kalla! If you actually read the homepage, wouldn't it be obvious to you that at the momenthe FOF is dealing with a loss in the family, and that a few re-runs won't kill you?! Go look elsewhere if you want to be so unpleasant.
(NB: Fab show! *sighs* love Miss Ronnie's response to that letter! hehe!)

Hey Ka - be happy a cool show like this manages the output it does - not many casts out there with this combination of high frequency, high comedy and high quality. And funny doesn't age that fast, so do yourself a favour and do some diving in these here archives. I am sure that doing so has made me a better mensch. Well, a more smiley one in any case. :-)

p>First of all why are people being such ass holes when the feast of fools only gives out so much love to its listeners. They always post new shows and you're freaking out when they haven't for a week. Hello! They are going through a difficult situation. Can't people read? Are you not human beings? I originally came on here to post love to Fausto and Marc and was appalled by the rude messages.
Here it is anyways! I love you guys! You have made my life so much better. Thank you for sharing yourselves and creating somthing artistic, meaningful, and fun. I'm a poor student but I promised myself that I was going to buy a tee shirt this week as soon as I finished a paper!
I love you guys! Thanks again.

Well, I'm back in Texas again after the funeral and I'm GLAD people are ANGRY because they can't get their latest FOF fix! This goes to show that Fausto and Marc are doing a really fabulous job - out of love and for SURE not for money! I'm also here to tell you that my darling Fausto and his darling siblings have had a VERY trying week not only dealing with the death of their family but with inheritance issues. My ex was very fond of making easy things complicated. I'm so pround of all of them for dealing in such mature ways with all this. So please bear with Fausto and Marc and keep loving FOF! They'll be back as soon as they can!
And more importantly, as Fausto' mom - you have all made me cry -I'm tearing up as I write this - for the wonderful outpouring of love you listeners have shown for Fausto! Marc, you TOO have given such wondeful support to ALL the Fernós family throughout these difficult days! You are my favorite son-in-law, not only because you're the only one, but because NO ONE else will ever be able to give like you do! Thanks so very, very much and many thanks to all you wonderful listeners and supporters of FOF! BIG hugs to everybody! Patricia
