I don't really even see Jake as straight. He's just an object of desire really. I have no chance of meeting him (he rarely promotes films in the UK), there's just something about him that sits right with me.

I consider myself pretty media savvy and alert, but despite his portrayal as "the strong silent type" there's something I just really like about him.

In terms of adoring gay men in the public eye, there's always Jay Brannan (remember I said about him a couple of days ago). Jay's an openly gay musician (and cute), in fact he's just been featured on youtube and got 185,000 views in a couple of days!

When all is said is done, we gays do need to push each other forward a bit more. Fausto is right, bring on the Barrowman (Series One of 'Torchwood' was great).

I know that Fausto and Marc will appreciate this one, but the less geeky part of the audience might not. Way back when Star Trek: Voyager premiered when I was in fourth grade, I fell instantly in love with Tom Paris. He was the bad boy with a good heart, and wasn't too harsh on the eyes either. I've always fantasized about taking him into a dark room and having my way with him.

Also, Elliot Stabler from Law & Order: SVU makes my list of TV boyfriends. He could take me into a dark room and have his way with me any day.

Amanda: "bargain hunt for a bargain cunt" made me spit out the water I was drinking and drew some very confused stares from my coworkers as I spent the next minute trying to regain my composure. Thank you for brightening my day.
