We made the cover of Time Magazine! (Sort of)

Before you say to yourself: "Pffft. Must have been an awfully slow year." Time Magazine really did put us on the cover of their December issue as "Person of the Year."

But by "putting" I mean a photoshopped mock-up and by "us" I mean ALL OF US.

Time Magazine made podcasters, bloggers, photo-bloggers, video artists and all the good people who tirelessly make up so much free content on the internet as People of the Year. Why? Because we really are making an impact on the way all media is created, consumed and thought about. Shows like the Feast of Fools represent the future of entertainment and media.

As Time says: "Web 2.0 [podcasting, blogging, videos, etc.] is a massive social experiment, and like any experiment worth trying, it could fail... [it] harnesses the stupidity of crowds as well as its wisdom. Some of the comments on YouTube make you weep for the future of humanity just for the spelling alone, never mind the obscenity and the naked hatred." Boy do we know what they mean.

So congratulations everyone, we finally made it! That means you too!
