First, Congratulations on your various trips and audience interactions. Your showcase of Grim and Smith was fantastic and your breadth of topics is refreshing. Secondly, since you were in the city I thought you would be interested to share with others what's going on with NYC LGBT youth at risk. Sure Manhattan is great, but LGBT youth in the Bronx have virtually no services, no PFLAG, very little housing or healthcare resources, etc. What they do have though is the Bronx Community Pride Center (http://www.blghrc.org/home.html The webpage is undergoing change.) My brother Carlton Rounds is Deputy Director and he has already organized a small media campaing highlighting the Bronx's only LGBT serving insitution. THE ONLY ONE!

I watched the video. It is very well done. It really is no surprise that GLBT Youth are underserved. Chicago just recently built a new GLBT Youth Shelter. If you'd like we'd be glad to read a Public Service Announcement for the shelter. What do you want us to say?
