Doogie Howser is gay! What's a Doogie Howser? I was awaken by the news from my friend Nic Tips on Saturday morning over the phone with a sense of urgency that reminded me of a leader being informed that Russia had launched the bombs.
It seems since we started doing this podcast back in February of 2005, the whole world has gone gay- • George Takei (Sulu from Star Trek)
• Lance Bass (NySync singer)
• RJ Helton (from American Idol)
• TR Knight (Star of Grey’s Anatomy)
• James Lipton (Inside the Actor's Studio)
• Jim McGreevey (Creepy politician)
• Rep. Mark Foley (Another creepy politician)
• Rev. Ted Haggard (still another creepy evangelist)
and now Neil Patrick Harris the actor well known for playing the medical whiz kid Doogie Howser on TV. And by inference, his longtime partner David Burtka has also come out.
Have we really had that much of an impact?
What's in the air out there that has caused so many gay men to want or be forced to come out recently? Are we missing anyone from this list?
Because there are so many closeted celebrities and politicians coming out we need to add the letter "C" to the Gay Alphabet, making it GLBTQC.

3- Come out because you have a book to promote, an election to win or a product to sell. Don't come out just because you’re bored.
4- IF you get caught with your pants down, say you’re sorry and move on.
5- Don’t ever expect sympathy or love from anyone if you have audacity to clean a carpet or polish a pole and then turn around and say you’re straight. Cause you’re not. Cause you will look like a Fool and wind up being talked about on the Feast of Fools.

urmmm... just listening to the show now and wanna clear things up about chinese desserts... i'm not sure where you've gone but man, you are missing out. there are many wonderful chinese desserts around.
the mooncake is not only made out of soybean. the paste is commonly made with lotus seed paste but can also have red bean, green tea flavoured and nowadays there are many different flavours like chocolate etc. plus they're super sweet!
another great chinese dessert is called the egg tart which is a pastry with an egg filling and when eaten fresh and warm is yum.
there are also fried pancakes filled with red bean paste and are cruncy... yum.
and just to add another one, there's a sweet soup that is basically thick red bean soup with sticky rice balls that are filled with sweet sesame paste...
lots of paste but yeah, just proving my point about chinese desserts. just have to find a good restaurant that makes them well.

I thought everybody knew that Neil was a friend of Mary's already! I mean I know he came out in the papers last week, but for everybody that watches Big Brother.... remember the episode where he came into the BB house and Dr Will loved him but then suddenly seemed turned off by him? That was the reason why.
Now how Dr Will, a man who grew up in California and is TOTALLY obsessed with his body, can't be gay friendly is a whole nother story!

Hot-head Isaiah Washington hurled a vicious gay slur at one of his co-stars during an on-set brawl – and the ugly explosion of hate is ripping apart TV’s number one show.
Last week, the ENQUIRER broke the blockbuster news that Isaiah, 43, choked Patrick Dempsey, 40, in an Oct. 9 fight on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy." And now we can reveal the secret behind the outrage.
“The melee has set off World War III on the show and may cost Isaiah his job,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“The cast is divided over the shameful event.”
As The ENQUIRER exclusively revealed last week, Patrick and Isaiah clashed over cast members being late to the set, right before shooting a scene at Prospect Studios in Los Angeles.
A heated discussion quickly escalated to violence when Isaiah snapped, revealed an eyewitness.
At one point, Isaiah yelled, “I’m not your little faggot like (name deleted),” according to the source. Those who heard him were stunned.
Because of the extreme nature of the slur, The ENQUIRER is withholding the name of the co-star targeted by Washington. During the brawl, an enraged Isaiah grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him a few feet.

I saw Neil playing the host in Cabaret, since then I thought he was OUT. I don't think he ever put on a front to say he wasn't gay or have a "girlfriend" to stablish himself as a heterosexual man.

ANOTHER GREY'S ANATOMY STAR COMES OUT
Grey's Anatomy's T.R. Knight, 33, has told People magazine he is gay.
"I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there," Knight told People. "While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."

I read it in the paper that Neil was gay, but I thought it would have a better place in the paper. When I read the tribune sat morning it was way in the back last page in the corner of the communtity section, I just think it should have been on the front of the life or culture insert.
