Here in Taiwan I turned on CNN this morning and they had a report on Tom Foley who has been accused of sending dirty emails to 16 year old boys. The report said that it was because he was abused as a child by a priest, because he was suffering from mental illness, and because he had a drinking problem. They even mentioned that previously before becoming a republican, he was a democrat as if that would explain it. I guess the message here is abused, insane, drunk, but not just a horny gay guy attracted to young men. Is this America today? When I was 16 I would have loved the chance to have sex with a handsome silverfox. Bush said that he found Foley's behavior disgusting. Isn't it more disgusting to kill people on a daily basis for oil?
