Bon voyage baby! Our good friend, writer and actor Gordon West is moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of being another disgruntled Starbucks employee in Beverly Hills. Just kidding Gordon!
Here at the FOF we salute those who feel compelled to move west, to see if they can make it big in Tinseltown. It's a rough gig, but L.A. is not just filled with superficial pretty boys, there are some fabulous folks who live there too. People like Buzz, Pup Don, Mike Rocco and the L.A. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.
On today's show we give Gordon the boot out of the Windy City as we talk about Cher's auction, Bob Mackie's gowns, Bowling for Columbine, teen angst, republican backlashes, Mark Foley and hot sixteen year old lacrosse players.
Whats up with chicks and brass beds? Why do women love their brass beds?

Not being a LA "Native" myself (16 years so far!), it's had it's ups and downs and, pardon the pun.. Shake ups! But I never regretted doing it!

homg that Gordon was effin' hilarious.. when you were talking about the broken bed and how he called to return it and then changed his voice to come kinda crazy-sounding black lady i was laughing my damn ass off.. and woke everyone in the house.
and Fausto.. i dunno why you are so amazed that Gordon could have sex like that. that position is in gay sex all the time. not that i'm a frequent viewer or anything *cough* >_> <_<

OK, so you got me to laugh loud enough to be heard on the train again. It was the line about Fausto talking about ass fucking while holding his high ball glass. Where has Gordon been all time? You know, except for not on this show, damnit. Some of my favorite episodes are when it really is just you people hanging around a microphone without an agenda set. Keep it up!

Heh. I have a brass bed because it was free. The MALM bed frame from IKEA is really more my style, but for now, free is good.
I love IKEA. When I was in Kentucky, the closest one was the one you shop at in Chicago, so I was very happy to move out to Washington and live only two hours away. In fact, I'll be going there this weekend to do a bit of shopping. :)
