FOF #396 - Amanda Loses Her Voice, Almost - 09.26.06

Don't get too excited. Amanda Steinstein just got back from Florida and the poor girl got a terrible cold on the plane!. Nevertheless, our Jewish diva in residence is pushing through the pain to help us homo's put out yet another fabulous award-winning Feast of Fools podcast.
Today's show begins with us opening up some very special packages from our sci-fi minded fans. We are just blown away by the crazy little murderous pepper pots that we received.
Amanda talks about all the "crazy" rules that divers have to go by. Did you know if you found a box full of treasure in a wrecked ship, your not supposed to take it? How crazy is that? I want my pieces of eight!
What do you think Madonna would like in a game of Scrabble? Well, someone in her inner circle wants you to know that she is a bitch at the game. I guess she and guy Ritchie fight over the game all the time. If I could spel, I would challenge her to a game. What's even more of a bitch is poisonous dildoes. Greenpeace has asked the EU to halt production of sex toys that are killing us with toxins.
Elizabeth Taylor, hereby known as "ET" dived with sharks. Why didn't they bite her? Professional Courtesy!
Amanda doesn't drink much, but if she did she wouldn't pass over He'brew, a beer for Jewish people or people who like Jewish... beer?
The podcast that never stops until you are satisfied-the Feast of Fools!

Maybe it's a little too obvious, but I immediately thought of "Bruce Jewce" for the Lenny Bruce beer. So were you guys sponsored by Shotime to plug that show, or was that just a comedy bit? Either way, thanks for making a commercial entertaining. Even better than when Howard Stern used to have to read his own ads.

I'm SO glad that you loved the Daleks as much as I did. I can't tell you how fun it is to hear you all get so excited. Well, Amanda and Marc anyway, not much turns Fausto's head (except hot boys with big dicks apparently). Unfortunately it's looking like I'm not going to be able to attend the meet & greet OR go with my friends to Reno. Everything is fucked up at my company right now and I had to cancel my vacation days. I was all set to come to LA, (with a nice piece of well-hung 21 y/o chicken to excite Fausto) and then I had to cancel the days off. It sucks royally. I hope everyone else has a great time though. I guess I'll just have to hear about it on my iPod. :o(

Troy...I'm so sorry! That bites! I think it's time to quit this job. And again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the FABULOUS DALEK! I'm already envisioning scenarious where I could use it with my other Daleks of various sizes for some sort of fanvid.
Frank...Bruce Jewce is good! I love it! Or, how about just...LENNY BREWs!
Kisses,
AS

Question for Amanda:
Does she do a video presentation of her powerpoint? I'm betting it's freaking hilarious. She should do it and upload it to youtube with the Feast of Fools web address at the end of it. Think viral video!!

Crucifixion is a horrible way to kill yourself. You'll never be able to hammer in that last nail.
Am I the only one who watched The Young Ones??? Come on!

i thought the madonna crucifixion thing was cool.. with the dramatic church organ remix of 'live to tell'. but the overall message of the number is usually lost, in that the whole time a counter above her head was incrementing to 20,000,000 kids that'll die from AIDS in Africa by the end of the decade. afterwards, she laid down the crown of thorns and went completely face down in front of it. i saw it as a sign of respect and remembrance for the symbolism of someone dieing for the sins humanity.. - or it could've just been a publicity stunt.
anywho - is that captian guy in dr. who the only queer character in sci-fi (played by an openly gay actor, no less)?

Amanda I am happy for you and your new toy Dalek. I Have been a Doctor Who Fan for a long time I have 47 VHS tapes of the show and that is 3 to 5 movies per tape. Send me a message I found a Dr. Who fan site where they talk all about Dr. Who. The New season of Dr. Who starts this Friday on the Sci-Fi channel at 7pm CST and 9:30pm CST.
