FOF #392 - 15 Hours For This!?! - 09.20.06

Podcast
Does size matter?
Marc and I don't seem to think it's important as it is to Ronnie. I think size is relative. Big things appear small to big people, and small things appear big to little people.

It seems like a man in China was the recipient of the world's first penis transplant, and his body didn't rejected it, his MIND did.

Listen to today's show as Miss Ronnie, Marc and I talk about the benefits of keeping an open mind, Clay Aiken possible coming out, and the world's first penis implant.

The podcast that comes with a spork, special sauce and a biscuit- the Feast of Fools.

hey guys and miss ronnie..theres a first an asian getting a penis replacement..i'm still laughing over miss ronnie's five inch remark comments..hahahaha..now for me being a chinese american..i'm laughing because its true..just kidding..see ya guys next week

Said by: frankie from LA at September 20, 2006 02:43 AM

I am finally finding time to listen to the episodes, I listened for two hours tonight and got completely caught up. I am so happy.

About Clay, if he is under contract it is likely that he can not come out without being dropped from his lable. If his lable drops him he will be unable to continue a music career because his lable owns not only his music but his image and soul. So really it could be a matter of if he comes out he will be losing his income, so give gay clay a break. Its not up to him its up to the people that control him.

As for the 5 inch asian, I say upgrade. I am not saying all asians are small but I grew up with a heavy asian population an I have yet to see a very impressive erect asian penis. More over, I was in an exchange program to Japan and after gym class we all showered. Though it is possible that asian teens go through puberty slower than white teens it was safe to say I out length them by a lot. And the old men in the bath houses in japan, they are tiny too. But what ever, 5 inches may actually be a lot. The article did not say if he was able to get erections with his new penis, so it is likely that they would have measured the penis unerect, seeing how it is hard to get a dead guy hard to measure it before it was cut off. So if it was 5 inches soft then he may have a nice sized penis. I have seen 5 grow into 7 inches very easily and 7 inches is when a penises start to get good.

On the other side of things, I consider myself a top for two reasons. You guys saw my penis so you know about that, and I am not able to take many penises in the ass. I have been fucked once, by my frist boyfriend, he was 6.5-7 inches and it hurt like hell. He was not very thick either. My current hook up has a 7.5 inch penis and I would really like to let him fuck me but no matter how much lube and fingering or how slow we go, he can only pop his head in without me hurting. So although a big penis is very fun to play with, and conversly a small penis is lackluster, I wouldn't mind meeting a guy with a 5 inch cock that could teach me to bottom. Maybe then I can start having fun with the big boys.

Guys I love you so much and I will try my hardest to make it to LA. If I can't make it, expect something special as a sorry like a gift or some pictures or my severed penis.

Ms. Ronnie,

Inquring minds do want to know. You all started off the show with Fausto probing Ms. Ronnie's dark-grey matter. Ms. Ronnie said it didn't matter, that celebrity worship is a bunch of crap. I completely agree that celebrity worship/following (whatever you want to call it) is crap and a waste of time. There are so many more important things you can be doing with your life (like listening to FOF).

However, Ms. Ronnie, in your case, we do want to know about you because (no offense) it is not celebrity worship. Having listened PMR, every day, I feel like I know you all. If you hear friends talk every day, you want to know what is going on with them. All of us listeners get caught up in your lives because you share them so openly and intimately with us. So Ms. Ronnie, please continue to share your thoughts with us because you are friends with us.

And i am still laughing at the penis implant conversation.

Raquel- That is soooooo mean. Are you for real? Did you really date that guy? Wow!

Said by: Marc at September 20, 2006 02:34 PM

yes, marc...i am not kidding! i DID date that guy. in 2003 a week after i broke up with my ex-fiance. we used to be friends. take it from me kids, dont fuck your platonic friends!

i wish i could take credit for that pic but unfortunately i cant. he's dumped a lot more women after he finished with me. it took me months to get over him believe it or not.

Said by: raequel - the triscast at September 20, 2006 03:27 PM

Wow. Well if a guy like that can date a hottie like you then there is hope for men with smaller penises. Penis size as we all know is not the end all and be all of sex or relationships. Look at lesbians, they have great sex and there's not a dick in sight.

Said by: Marc at September 20, 2006 03:45 PM

Guys, this has to be one of my most favorite shows ever. I laughed so hard that everyone in my office must have thought I was cracking up. I had my headphones on and could not even stifle my snickers (which sound like that old cartoon dog, Mutley. Buzz can back me up on that). However, in defense of small dicks everywhere, my favorite quote is "What's a bottom need with a big dick?". If you're straight, get really good with toys to please her and remember that you ain't getting her jaw tired, so you both win!!! Yay!

And on the subject of a singer's sexuality, I have to side with Ronnie on this, what does it matter? I do think that it's important for any celebrity to come out because the more out and proud celebs there are, the easier it will get for all gay people to find their inner pride and the ability to come out on their own. But as far as knowing which gender a singer is singing too, that doesn't really matter. The beauty of a well written song is that you can make it your own. If you are singing along to a love song and thinking of a certain someone, you have to realize that the singer didn't write the song about that same person, but that you have taken that person's song and made it your own. You might sing "Every Breath You Take" while thining of someone you care about but the song is really a mean spirited song about a 1984 Big Brother figure, or a stalker depending on how you look at it, but lots of people were able to find a beauty about it and make it work for them. That's what makes a song great, to elicit a feeling on the part of the listener, wether it be about the subject matter the songwriter/singer intended it to be or the subject the listener is thinking about while listening or singing along to.

Thanks again for totally making my day. I hope you guys are having a great one was well.

See you guys next week!

Love,
pup don

I forgot what it was that we were supposed to chime in on, but whatever it was I agree with Fausto!

Said by: mike hipp at September 20, 2006 04:05 PM

Marc,

he really didnt think i was that much of a hottie if he ended up dumping me. i just have a knack for finding the worst men for myself. besides i'm destined to be a spinster anyways. men are just not into me. if i could have played for the other team i would have years ago.

Said by: raequel - the triscast at September 20, 2006 04:33 PM

BoyZ and Miss Ronnie......What a HOOT of a show. I busted out laughing several times, at work no less. Soon the workplace is going to ban iPods because of Fools like you.

Still holding my breath for that special tribute to Gov. Ann Richards. Even NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me had a 20 second tribute to her.

Wish I could make it to LA. I did don't $69.69.

Said by: Mike Hunt at September 20, 2006 06:29 PM

I also think this was one of the most outrageous shows with Miss Ronnie--ever. I was in the breakroom at work during the "penis transplant" segment, and I nearly fell out of my chair I was laughing so hard. I have never heard Fausto lose it like he did during that segment. You could have made another RoboRonnie out of this episode alone! LOL

On the subject of whether or not Clay Aiken will come out, I would say not to count on it. I think it might be deadly to his career, given that he has not accumulated that much of a catalog yet. If he were to come out, he would be doubly screwed (with no quarter turns, either). He majored in special education, and trying to deal with the fact that he is a person with notoriety, plus the whole gay issue, he would not be likely to find many school systems willing to touch him.

On the penis transplant: too funny.

On Brangelina's support of marriage equality by refusing to marry:
I'd rather NOT have these two expressing support for us. If we are to convince people that allowing same-sex marriage to be legally recognized will not destabilize the whole social institution of marriage, Brangelina is not the couple we need to have for poster children.

First of all, they are part of "Hollywood", which will continue to turn off the constituency who were responsible for voting in all of these marriage amendments. Hollywood's perceived support of progressive issues has successfully been turned into a weapon to be used against progressives. Dr. James Dobson followers hearing this news will likely say, "A Hollywood couple refusing to marry, and living in sin? Did you expect surprise? This is just the kind of anti-family-values thing we have been warning everybody else about! Let's be sure to get that 'marriage = one man + one woman' bumper sticker..."

Second, Brad has had a reputation for not committing, and has left a long trail of broken hearts behind him. Not exactly the model of stable LTR kind of guy.

Angelina has come out as bisexual, which makes her too easy to discredit as a biased source. Plus, she is also not a good example of somebody who stays faithful to a relationship.

People also will remember that Brangelina were together long before Brad and Jennifer Aniston's divorce was final. Again, this is not going to impress the crowd we are trying to reach.

In short, we need role models who are not as easy to discredit and disregard. The best example I ever saw was a straight, married couple at Nashville Pride a few years ago. They marched in the parade with their children while wearing sandwich boards with the slogan "Happily married for 20 years" on the front and "And gays should have the same right!" on the back. That is the kind of support that we need, not the latest Hollywood couple using us as an excuse not to get married.

Ok, off the soapbox now.

Said by: David at September 20, 2006 09:15 PM

The people who are against gays being legally married aren't any more or less moral than Brad and Angelina are. But boy are they UGGGGLY!

I love Brad Pitt and will follow him any where he goes. I really don't think their expression on gay marriage is bad for anyone. I'd happy love to have his children anytime. I'm sure you would too.

Said by: Marc at September 20, 2006 10:51 PM

well, just a note on brad and angelina's baby photos and selling them to People mag... they actually donated the money that was gained from the photos to Africa.

And another note on attacking this couple, not everything that is read in the tabloids/papers are true (as we all know) so all the rumours could either be true or false so they might not be as bad as we think they are. Whatever support for gay marriage is needed - straight, gay... whatever... at least it's getting in the press. The more press, the better the exposure... at least it's keeping the debate alive.

Said by: Jau at September 21, 2006 01:13 AM

oh... and am listening to the podcast realtime while i'm writing this comment... but yeah, not sure how much i like the generalisation about asian guys having small dicks...
i'm asian myself and there seems to be a fair bit of 'stigma' against asian guys (in white communities) and i've experienced some of it from guys in australia where some guys wouldn't date me because i am asian, or guys would date me just because i am asian. perhaps you should address this sometime...

oh, and with the small dick thing.. i've been with plenty of white guys who are smaller than me... perhaps it's just my luck... (either they've all been small, or i'm big... dunno, need to go get a tape measure or something)

Said by: Jau at September 21, 2006 01:43 AM

Marc,

I would agree that the people who are against same-sex marriage are no more or less moral than Brangelina. On the ugly thing, I will say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

On the subject of following Brad Pitt and having his love children, I would do it only if I could end up meeting Melissa Etheridge and starring in one of her music videos (Gwyneth Paltrow, Juliette Lewis, and Jennifer Aniston all have starred in one of MLE's videos). Otherwise, no deal. LOL

Said by: David at September 21, 2006 08:04 AM

Jau, thanks for your posting. I was about to call up Sue Johanssen to get her to set the recod straight on comments about the size of penises in Asians - even if they were made just for laughs. For sure, I ain't no expert on penises, having experienced very, very few -- BUT, that reaction on FOF smelled VERY prejudiced to me. So thanks for speaking up! The rest of you Asian FOF listeners, get after these kids, would ya?!

5 inches soft penis is pretty big.

Said by: Di at September 21, 2006 10:26 AM

Di- That article about the 5 inch penis transplant was on the Internet, so if a dick is on the Internet, you have to subtract several inches from it or else when it arrives at your door, you are going to be extremely dissapointed. If a guy says 8 inches, its probably five inches. If he says 7.5 then its really 3.5. I usually say a yard so people know what to expect.

I think that the length of 5 inches was the entire thing. Not just what was upfront, but what's under the balls etc. The WHOLE organ

Said by: Marc at September 21, 2006 11:32 AM

I hear you saying "accept who you are" on your program
which I find to be great advice.

And then on today's program you, and particularly
Ronnie, had a fun time laughing at guys with small
dicks.

I think you need to devote a program to penis
enlargment options for small dick guys so they don't
have to go through life being laughed at for something
they have no control over.

Your program has gone from the wonderful highs with
your interview of Kate Bornstein who has such great
advice for teens that are struggling with accepting
themselves to today's depressing low where you give
small-dicked teens one more reason to feel hopeless.

Said by: Alex at September 21, 2006 11:33 AM

Sorry you feel hurt Alex. Yes, sometimes we go too far. We aren't saints, that's for sure, I don't think we'll be covering any penis enlargements procedures because, to my klnowledge, there aren't any out there that actually do anything worthwile. Its all a scam.

You have what you have down there and that's that. You can feel sorry for yourself or you can stick in someone and make them feel very happy.

Honestly, its fun to joke, but most people you would want to be with do not care in the least bit how big your dick is.

Said by: Marc at September 21, 2006 11:40 AM

Patricia, thanks for the comment - good to know someone is reading it. Didn't want to sound like a prat or anything but yeah, i think this is one of the first FOF shows that kinda left me a bit disturbed - i could see how it could have been funny and yeah, it was over the top, but sometimes it can go a bit too far...
I'm not saying to hold back, but perhaps think of your Asian listeners because if you want to talk about standing up for gay rights and all that jazz, and talking about repression of gay people in some countries, it doesn't really help to poke fun at people who do get repressed in countries where homosexuality isn't as accepted.
Plus since it's a podcast and podcasts tend to be more international cos everyone can access them, perhaps interviews with people overseas (and not only Europe) would be beneficial.

but i did just buy 3 t-shirts... and still lurve the show.

yay!

Said by: Jau at September 21, 2006 10:35 PM

Thank you Jau. We really do appreciate your support. Without it we are nothing.
