FOF #323 - All for You, Amanda - 06.06.06

Podcast
It's always Armageddon on somebody's calendar somewhere.
On today's ominous show (06-06-06) the devil has taken over our computer and is messing with our microphones. Can you hear the evil undertones in our recordings? It's saying "support the Feast of Fools podcast" and "get a t-shirt."

I guess that explains why were so sucessful!

Listen to our devilish podcast with Amanda Steinstein as we talk a lot about the little town of Hell in Michigan (what part of Michigan isnt hell?) and the political history of marriage.

Plus a phone call from Sean who tries to talk to some unhappy homosexuals at the happiest place on earth, and a letter from a listener.

W.W.J.G.D.? What Would Jake Gyllenhaal Do? He'd download the Feast of Fools podcast, of course.

If you want to see some great and beautiful country in Michigan, go up to the northern part of the Lower Peninsula or to the Upper Peninsula. It's breathtakingly beautiful up there. No gay nightlife to speak of, but the natural scenery is great!

Wow, I nearly lost it when I heard "A letter from Daniel" in your opening this morning. Thank you very much for all your advice, I am actually going to look into possibly talking to my parents.
Thanks again, Fausto, Marc, and Amanda!

Hey Amanda,

I'll consider being your "slave for a day" if you can handle a gay/kinky/furry slave :) WOOF!

Well, it's world 666 day and so far it's non-eventful here in S. California.

Would love to get you all here to Disneyland and have a blast!

Your kinkster,
Buzz

You should have Daniel on the show in a week or two - it might help others to hear about how things are going for him.

OK.... that's IT! I can't hide anymore!
I am a GAY REPUBLICAN!!! Well, that was until this morning. I have had enough of playing the dutiful son of a Roman Catholic Republican (and I always voted Democratic just to piss him off!). Today, I am proud to leave the destructive, petty party of asses to join the opposition of caring and worthy Democratics! As I just told my Dad, "I don't know nothin' 'bout politics or gardenin', but I DO know that BUSHES is for pissin' on!"

Great show guys although the call with Sean was kinda lame. There are some beautiful places in upper Michigan. My lesbian Aunts have a summer cottage on Bois Blanc Island where you can sit on the porch, watch freighters go under tha Mackinaw bridge and even see the Grand Hotel.

When I wasin my teens we had many a steamy night up there with they other kids. They may not be gay but they passed as far as I was concerned.

Take Care!!!

what an awesome birthday gift to have at work, Amanda Steinstein on the FOF!! Love love love her!

Not to mention the ending and opening music being by two of my favorite artists (Rachael Sage and Christopher Dallman). Very very cool...

Going to see the Omen tonight, in honor of my birthday, my friend thought it would be a fun idea lol and I'll be wearing my FOF T-Shirt! Nothing says 6/6/6 like the feast of fools.

And How cool is it that Amanda brought up the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Pastafarians untie...RAMEN everyone.

Interesting discussion on the "sanctity" of marriage, whatever that means anymore.

If you guys watched O'Reilly factor last night he had these guys on that wrote a book supporting gay marriage and tried to get them to say how in other countries straight marriages have gone down, but they had facts that say it's risen and countered all of O'Reilly's "facts" with their own true ones. Needless to say O'Reilly got PWND and had to resort to talking over them and then cutting them off. It was quite amusing seeing him getting flustered that he wasn't winning the debate.

Happy 6/6/6 guys!!

Amanda was right, it was George Reeves that played Superman in the 50's tv show.
Steve Reeves, shows where your mind is at.

That phone call sounded like you were talking to Corky from "Life Goes On". ;)

Another fantastic show... and I have to say, although I am somewhat biased, any show with Amanda Steinstein is a favorite show of mine. ;) Love you, honey. :)

Hey guys. Fantastic show as usual. Miss Amanda, I miss you much. Hope all is well and I hope to see all of you soon. Now, that the pleasantries are over, I agree that Bush should be tried for treason and a myriad of other charges. However, if you could put someone on trial for being an idiot, we could have avoided all that the country is going through right now. BTW, MJ is up to his old tricks again. He received an award in a foreign country around last week, I think, and just couldn't keep his hands off the children. When are they going to learn.........

ALL FOR YOU AMANDA!!!!!

Okay, I'm a little late on this but I listened to the show last night while doing laundry at the local laundromatt. People couldn't understand why I was giggling into my hummos and cheese sandwich.

Oh, and the "Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse" is now a Tarzan attraction. You can see where his parents lived and the leopard that ate them and all that fun stuff. And yeah, it's a big fake tree.

Love the show, love Amanda and love you're guts. :)

Love,
pup don

Said by: pup don at June 7, 2006 01:20 PM

They just updated the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse into a Tarzan treehouse? I can't tell if that's a step forward or a step back. Going by movie release dates, it's a step forward I guess.

Maybe next they'll turn the teacup ride into spinning sippy cups, and the Dumbo ride into some deal where you fly on the backs of illegal ivory traders.

Thank goodness the world moves faster than the pace of Disney.

I left school that day to go see The Omen and to go to Hell. It was pretty sweet. My friends and I went with 666 stickers all over us. It was great fun.
