FOF Video #6 - A Blind Date with Esther - 05.29.06

We don't really know how my virtual blind date with Elton John got turned around into a virtual blind date with Madonna.
Not only is her tour across America meant to promoting her new album "Confessions on a Dance Floor" Madonna (or "Esther" as she likes to be called on the Sabbath) but her new tell-all book about motherhood.
This video capture of the conference was part of our very special Feast of Fools LIVE recording (which will be up later this week) done at the Apple Store on North Michigan Avenue on Saturday May 27th. Check out the video capture of the lovely date I had with the material girl (or woman) herself!
Happy Memorial Day! Try to remember the important things in life, like wacky drag queens and cheap red haired wigs. We'll be back tomorrow with a very special Feast of Fools podcast from the Apple Store!

As Esther might say, fan-bloody-tastic! That was seriously great (con lolli) - can't wait to hear the podcast and maybe see more video from the big day :)

Rickie, all we got from Apple was a big hug. (iPods sold seperately)
VAMOS CON LOLI!!!! Is it me or are Madonna impersonators more fun than the real thing?

OH MY GOD!!! we LOVE MADGE... I mean Esther! Who knew she was such a vision!?! (Those poor people in the front row~~~~ EEK!) Congrats on a great public outting and I look forward to a private in-studio concert soon!

This was even better on the Ipod then it was live!!!! What a great time. I'm currently plastering my Fridge with pictures (and the new Poster Fausto). The ones of Miss Ronnie, Kate and Carrie... plus the one of Marc with my son. I only posted 56 pictures but I took 199 that afternoon.
Can you get Carrie and Kate to do an MP3 of the Theme song and the "Bush" number??? I loved their other songs.
I was too shy to ask at the Q&A session but who was the Latin Looking guy in the back (red shirt)??? I knew all the rest of them. Can't imagine I'd forget that one.

Victoria Lamarr is the woman of a thousand faces, or at least two: Madonna (Esther) and Anne Coulter.
This was hilarious! More! More!!!

I screamed while walking the beach today, because there was no FOF audio-podcast. What good is a three-day weekend if you don't have a full dysfunctional podcast of the FOF?
Good video podcast though (once I got home from the beach.) You were obviously pushing Apple technology. Don't pimp yourself out yet. Hang in there! The big one is coming.

Heyyy, I thought Madges book was called something else....
It's always a treat to see V-Marr and in a leotard no less! A delicious piece of eye candy to say the very least.

I love that we can see this here... I saw it at the live event, but we were all laughing too hard to hear all of what you were saying. :) Hee hee.

Such a lovely video. with all the work to get it back to ya. The dress reherssal was amusing as well and I was surprised to have a video up and not the podcast to match, but you guys have only so much time in the day; you know after driving someone *cough* to the airport and whatnot. Vmarr looks Esther-ific and the vogue off is always good.

OMG the Vogue-off was the best part... hysterical.

I have to agree with Tom, Fausto you have amazing teeth. Such a pretty mouth... Loved it, VMarr is to die for.

But what about the rest of my face? :) Thanks Meghan and Tom (Tom who lives in Edgewater?) and why haven't we met you?

Fantastic show. You had me laughing through the morning. I hope we see both Madge's when we go to Chicago for the concert in June.

I know! I can't believe I'm blocks from your posh recording studio, and I've missed both Meet 'n Greets. I was in on business in Israel during one and in Detroit during the other. Next one, I promise. Or maybe I'll see you around town before then. Love the show, every minute of every episode.

Sorry i'm late with this - will anyone read it? WELL, I think I must get SOME credit for those beautiful teeth of Fausto's - for YEARS I made all my 4 children swallow a half-half mixture of lecithin and codliver oil... if they threw it up I would make them take it again... I had very bad teeth as a kid and I was DETERMINED that wouldn't happen to my kids! Poor dears! BUT, with the help of braces and the cod liver oil, I believe that's what you get - beautiful teeth - PLUS breastfeeding them for years, of course! Well, in Fausto's case it was 3 + yrs...
