Eeew! Pete Burns is pretty creepy looking these days. Our fab nighclub personality Sal-E joins us today to talk about Pete Burns' new book "Freak Unique."
Pete Burns got his start in the 1980's at the height of Culture Club's fame with his own band Dead or Alive. His look rivaled that of Boy George's with a dark eyepatch, tons of makeup and wild hair. Nowdays Mister Burns looks like a blow-up sex doll and gets arrested for public fights with his boyfriend.
I know we said we weren't linking to the disgusting photo of him showing his jewels during performance, but here it is. Thanks to Wayne in the UK for it! NOT FOR THE WEAK OF HEART.
Lots of talk about immigrant woes at hair salons, the World Music Conference, the Nukak-Makú's (aboriginal people from Columbia) desire to join the modern world, drug use in nightclubs, and Sal-E's uncanny ability to guess Madonna or Cher's music by listening to half a second of their music!
Have you seen the reality TV show on Fox called Unan1mous? Well, it turns out that one of the people on the show is rumored to have been on a gay porn site. And the rumor is true!
On the show his name is Jonathan. On the gay porn site his model name was Tino. hmmm... wonder why he changed his name?

You mentioned Doctor Who on todays show.
To clarify Captain Jack is not gonna be on Series Two of Doctor Who, but he will have his own spin-off show. He is apprently bi in-real-life, and has just married his partner in the UK.

Itunes drama alert! Also the FOF conspiracy continues.... when you type in 'feast of fools' now this site doesn't even come on the 1st page of searches anymore!!!!! It used to be #1 or #2!!! I fear the FOF is doomed! I also put someone onto the FOF and they said the link redirected them somewhere else (last night)....suspicious!

OMG, you guys are the best. I just downloaded the show to my work computer and I'm screamin'. Thank you so much for the shoutout. I'm hoping we can get "Tino" back in for another shoot someday. I was referring to the picture of Pete Burns, by the way. The picture of Jonathan/Tino is another story. Jonathan was one of the few reasons I got hooked on Unan1mous, mostly because I suspected he was gay. Nice to know the gaydar is still well calibrated!

I had the misfortune of seeing Pete Burns in the flesh while attending a taping of "The Friday Night Project" a few months ago in London. What a freak--and not in the good way. He was incredibly annoying, fresh from his appearance on "Who's a Washed-Up Attention Whore?" (AKA Celebrity Big Brother), and he just acted like a complete dickhead to the hosts, the other guests, and the audience. Blech...hope I never have to hear about him again.

Hi Fausto, I search for FOF by putting into Google 'feast of fools' and it used to be #1. Strangely only the archive episodes come up (if at all), whereas before the homepage for FOF came up as Google's first find. Bizarre. Someone's messing with the FOF and it's time to cause a riot!
