I actually saw "United 93" on Friday and it was quite good. I didn't want to see it when I first saw the preview, but after seeing that the family members of those who died wanted the film to be made, I felt differently. The director did an incredible job handling the subject and it never came across as sappy or disrespectful. It shows sides of the story that people don't often think about. One being the air traffic coordinators and their inability to stop these events from happening and the other being the passengers on United 93 and the action they took to stop further catastrophe from occuring.

Alot of people are wondering if the movie is going to be in the realm of entertainment or exploitation. And I have to agree with a review I read by Gary Goldstein that says it's neither. It's not "any more (entertaining) than being asked to relive your worst nightmare would be". I actually felt a deep sense of dread as soon as the film began. And it's not exploitive because alot of care has been put into the recreation and enacting of the events. I would urge everyone to see it. It's deeply moving (bring tissues) and is a testament to the human spirit.

This quote describes it the best. "'United 93' is one of the most important, necessary, and difficult films of our time."

haven't listened yet, but I agree, I LOVE Cheyanne. I was disappointed I missed him in All Shook Up on broadway. He's an amazing talent and a sweetheart (according to my friend that knows him well). I'm debating whether or not to see the movie because I love Chey, but I get upset just watching the trailer so I know I'll be a wreck during the movie. I may have to wait til it comes out on video so I can pause or stop it if I get too emotional.

My friend has kept in contact with him since he was in Altar Boyz at NYMF and all through All Shook Up and still talks to him on occassion and from everything she's said and others that have met him say he's a real sweetie and he always comes across that way when ever I see him in interviews and things.

Yes he is compared to Elvis in All Shook Up, and he does an amazing job in that show!

The world does need more people like Chey, he's hot, talented and from everything I know a real sweetie. :)
