FEAST OF FOOLS PODCAST CELEBRATES 300 EPISODES WITH COMEDIAN MARGARET CHO'S PODCASTING DEBUT.
CHICAGO, IL (May 1) - The Feast of Fools podcast celebrates 300 episodes with Margaret Cho, comedy heroine, freedom fighter and podcast rookie.
Continuing to set records while entertaining a worldwide audience the Feast of Fools podcast delivers five days a week an impressive assortment of zany discussions, offbeat news reports, somewhat sage advice, cocktail recipes and celebrity interviews such as the 300th episode talk with Cho.
Cho made her podcast debut in an exclusive in-depth interview on the Feast of Fools show May 1. On the program hosts Fausto Fernós and Marc Felion interview Cho about her comedy, her writing process, her family, her outspokenness on stage, and her shyness offstage.
In the mid-1990s Cho, like comics Ellen DeGeneres, Tim Allen, Jerry Seinfeld, Rosanne and Drew Carey, transformed her comedy act into a sitcom with "All American Girl" on ABC. Not typically known for being Prime Time safe, Cho's comments about the Bush administration at a Moveon.org political rally saying "Laura Bush's pussy tastes like Lysol" have made her the focus of an intense conservative backlash.

The Feast of Fools podcast was the first podcast done by a gay couple, Marc Felion and Fausto Fernós. The show also holds the proud disctinction of being Chicago's No. 1 comedy podcast* and consistently ranks high in the iTunes Top 100 for all categories. No other gay-themed podcast has more listeners. Every show is downloaded on the range of 5,000-7,000 times a month, with an average weekly distribution of 30,000 downloads.
Every weekday the Feast of Fools posts a new episode, anchored by Fernós and his life-partner Marc Felion. Along with their colorful menagerie of friends the couple discusses news, current events and dispenses advice and cocktail recipies in a hilarious manner that only the Feast of Fools delivers.
The Feast of Fools attracts an impressive array of eccentric celebrities- John Waters, Kathy Griffin, Bruce Vilanch, Teri Garr, and Dee Snider; along with compelling in-depth interviews with musicians, writers and artists not on the mainstream radar screen.
Fernós and Felion bring light to many serious issues not only in mainstream media, but within the gay community. Through laughter and an ever witty sense of humor they discuss current news, trends, and issues within minority culture. The Feast of Fool's ability to connect with each and every listener has made it the success that it currently is.
In 1995 Fausto Fernós hosted the award winning Cable Access talk show "El Chow de Faustina." For nine years the Feast of Fools has continued to break ground and set records with the Feast of Fools, one of the most innovative, compelling and hilarious shows onstage and online.
