FOF #278 - The Sensuous Mexican Woman - 03.30.06

This is what happens when you don't plan out your show. Today, Miss Ronnie, Marc and Fausto fly blind into the eye of the podcasting storm by playing some of their favorite music and talking about some of their favorite topics. Of course it all breaks down into a sexy discussion about playing music during sex and legendary comedians who talk about REAL sex. Maybe we should do this more often.
On todays show, lots of talk about divas we like, and divas we hate. How MTV and American Idol have done more to damage music than Michael Jackson's last album.
The Sensuous Black Woman was an album put out by Lady Reed (who also went by several pseudonyms "Queen Bee") who's listed on the credits of the album as "The Madam." Anyone familiar with her voice and work will attribute it to her. You can check her out on Rudy Ray Moore's films "Dolemite" and "Son of Dolemite."
Click on the extended entry for the liner notes of the album.
The fabulous flavored condoms we were tasting on todays show are from Trustex.

"The Sensuous Black Woman"
Original Album Liner Notes:
THE SENSUOUS BLACK WOMAN is dedicated to the female world in every respect. And, as the Madam takes you on an open trip to the Black Female World, she would like you to listen very closely to the message in this album.
A woman was created for man's companion, to love, respect, and to fulfill his every desire. The word "love" is a feeling: tension, fulfillment, hostility, gladness and pain.
This is the mystery of love, it's beauty and its burden, and, as I sit here flexing my mind over the word "sensuous", it occurs that both men and women crave or lust for sex, in some form or another.
But The Creator created a woman for a man, and after careful thought, this is the way, in my mind, he thought a woman should be: The roundness of the moon, a clinging vine, the rippling water, the slenderness of a reed; the blossoming of flowers, the lightness of leaves, the serenity of rays of sunshine, tears of clouds; the instability of the wind, the fearfulness of a hare, the vanity of a fowl; the softness of a bird's breast, the hardness of a diamond, the sweetness of honey; the cruelty of a tiger.
Hot as fire, cold as snow; the talkativeness of a magpie, the singing of a nightengale; the falseness of a crane, the faithfulness of a mother lion.
As The Madam delivers this message to you girls, don't be shy; it could do you more good than harm.
I love you
Sincerely yours,
Ti-Ti

I loved the part of the crystal that you guys spoke of. It was so true. i did see that HBO thing ronnie...it was insane. HBO is the shit! Luther Van Dross...good choice! I listen to him all the time. That really sucks that you can't play all those awesome songs. Although, this podcast was pretty funny. Commenting on all the songs. You wanna meet a diva...come and meet me! lol...I can hope! oh well...
On another note. Cher is awesome. I saw her in concert twice. She is crazy. It was sad when she did the eulogy. I saw that on TV. I love her. I think Madonna is a great, great artist. But if Cher and Madonna had to be compared, Cher would win. Simply because Cher is so true. That is only my opinion, but freedom of speech though. So nobody hold it against me. I wish that I could get into show business, I hope that I can. Someday you'll see me! I promise! Well I gotta go, gotta get my groove on for the day. Sending you LOT AND LOTS OF LOVE!!!

I just want to add another comment.
I am writting this as I listen to the podcast. Okay...I TOTALLY AGREE on American Idol. I felt so awful when Simon said that about Frenchie the first season. Big LOVE to her if she listens to this! I wanted her to win. And the lyrics are what people should look at first in a song. Really listen to those lyrics. The lyrics make a statement. I don't know how those lyrics will impact other people but those can change my mood, my style, my life. Here is some artists that I suggest.
Ben Folds
Aslyn
Levi Kreis
Eric Himan
Katie Davis
Tony Love
Charlie Lui

Hi lads,
'The Madam' CD was hilarious.
Ronnie should take her conscious drug using self and produce a sexual help/motivational public service announcement. That way we gays can get some Ronnie love when she can't make the show taping.
Don't get me wrong I love a diva (especially Madonna, Mariah, Kylie, Toni Braxton etc) but you gotta go with Fausto.
I have to admit, working in the media does mean that you have a heightened awareness of the machine and how public figures are constructed. Take for example, J:lo being cast as a diva through her outrageous demands. But a 'diva' means solo female VOCALIST.
I don't think anyone would allow a Grammy to go to J:lo over Aretha, ya get me? She might be a business empresario but can a big booty get you a Grammy? No.
Fausto is right, I've been a Madoona fan since I was real young and Madonna has overworked the Mother/Wife angle now. Bring back the 'Erotica' days when she put people in their place, got her fanny out and told the music industry that she was a woman on a mission.
If she was passing her energy to Spears then why kiss Christina afterwards? Is Xtina not good enough for Madge? Everyone knows Aguilera can sing both Britney & Madonna under the table. So what's up with the energy crap? In ten years time when Britney's tits are down to her ankles, will be care where her energy has gone? Or will we be looking forward to Xtina's Double CD entitled 'The Greatest Hits: 1999-2020?' I'll leve it for you to decide.

Madonna's Erotica days...Check out this hilarious clip from So NoTORIous. Either Tori is moonlighting as a dominatrix or making a very convincing video to kidnappers if Mimi La Rue ever went missing-you make the call. So NoTORIous airs on Sunday nights at 10 on Vh1.

Miss Ronnie's Macy Gray impression was awesome! Spot on!
I managed to get a look at Gordon's photos of the Chicago Meat n Greet, and his friend REALLY looks like Jake Gyllenhaal. Lucky Fausto you got to touch him! Try and find a Heath Ledger to get topless in NYC. Wish I could be there,

hey -
I think all CHEAP tippers need to be servers for ONE week...they will never be cheap again especially when they see how many folks they have to tip out and also see their lack of the weekly check...

This show was off-the-hook hilarious. The "Black Woman" recording was the highlight for me... that really is a precursor to Miss Ronnie. Miss Ronnie, you have a future, honey. You should be writing books and doing self-help recordings like this. The people of the world need you!
One comment however-- My sister has Celiac Disease and needs to ask at every restaurant she goes to if they have a gluten-free menu or recommendations for gluten-free items. Granted, she isn't bitchy like those two customers were to you, Miss Ronnie... but there are people out there that have special dietary needs and there are good reasons for them. The thing they need to understand is that if there ISN'T a "special menu" available, they have to figure out what they can or cannot have on their own.
And just because you have special needs doesn't mean you should be leaving a $4 tip. That's ludicrous. You shoulda bitch-slapped 'em right then and there. I'd have held them down for you. :)

This was the best FOF episode I've heard yet (been listening for a month or so now), and maybe one of the podcasts I've EVER heard. That's all I got to say. Thanks!
