Podcast
We can't figure out if the Britney Spears
"Pro-Life/Anti-Choice" statue is a fake or not. Either way, it's hilarious, fabulous, and freakish. Just the kind of thing we're always looking for to talk about on the podcast!

Here you have the perfect Feast of Fools news item- it combines trashy celebrities, politics, art and scandal into one delicious visual statement. Have you not heard? It seems some fanatical sculptor in New York City created this sculpture as the "first Pro-Life monument to birth." Or freaky naked trashy pregnant ladies. Your pick.

This monstrosity is showing at the Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery, 121 Roebling St in Brooklyn NY. We definitively plan on checking this one out when we go there in April.

On today's show Miss Ronnie joins us to talk trash about her trashy vegan lesbian customers she had to wait on who gave her a terrible tip. Lots of heated talk about personal liberties vs. freedom of speech. It seems employers are now looking at google, myspace and other website thing-a-ma-jigs to spy on future employees in order to secretly learn about them so they can deny them employment for whatever reasons they choose (political opinions, sexual orientation, class, etc.)

So of course, since we DO use our real names here, we're screwed. Royally. Maybe that's why the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago never promoted me at my job working for years as a graphic designer? The pope was reading my blog! (True story.)

The podcast that delivers sass and satisfaction five days a week- the Feast of Fools.

The Feast of Fools is coming to NYC! Thursday April 13th 7pm at the Starlight Lounge in the Village, NYC. Chip any amount of money you have in your coin jar by clicking here. Help bring Ms. V-Marr, Ronnie, Amanda, Marc and your flaming blue pal Fausto to the Big Apple to meet you face to face. We've raised $772 dollars so far! If you're planning on flying up there, get your tickets through Orbitz and support our show!

Once again busting barriers and breaking boundaries with your show... I am glad that you addressed the first amendment stuff, and of course people should never be afraid to voice their opinions about things, or to speak up when they feel their is an injustice in the world. The min we beging to censor ourselves, or because someone else wants us to, be begin to give up the liberties that are owed to us by Uncle Sam. I deal with this a lot, and we are pretty outspoken about out beliefs. And that is what is beautiful about this country, is that we can agree, disagree, or even agree to disagree and not feel as if we are going to be in trouble for our opinions or beliefs... BUT.. when it comes to myspace you do have to have caution as to what you put on there... just because it is public domain, but I believe there are privacy filters so that individuals that want to see your posts, picturs, etc have to request permission from you. And just be prepared to defend what you have, and if you can dont worry, if you cant... hahaha... oh well... get that $78/hr guy that Fausto was chatting about. hahaha...

I love you guys and cannot wait to see you in NYC~~~

what another great show that was...personally, redbull does the best of the best for a beaten down soul. lol. apparently that statue is real, so you have to go see it and mark, i know it might be hard, but resist honey. cuz what? booty aint free..and i assume you would have to pay a heafty fine for a lick at that booty. ms. ronnie...i have empathy for you on your story of the bitchy lesbians. Coming from another waitor, nobody should have to put up with that shit and you did the right thing sweetheart! keep your chin up darlin, springs right around the way. right now i am living in germany and when you talked about the people not smiling thing, babies it's world wide. i walk down the street and say 'how you doin today?' to someone and they just keep walking, no eye contact, nothing. tell me what is happening to human interaction these days? i miss it! so this is a cry out to people, "say hello to somebody! be friendly and make your life worthwhile!". you will only regret it in the end. you guys keep doin what you doin. i love it...here's hugs, sendin you a happy day! peace, love ya honies.

its a great podcast and I enjoyed the whole show. I'm on myspace but i don't share all my shit because I don't think anyone else would find it interesting and 2 I got better shite to do (like try to be a musician/froducer). lol. but I do agree that its harder to get to know people now in a way. I like getting to know people and be nice to others, but when I'm hanging out in Minneapolis for school, if I try to smile at people or ask simple questions, people look at me like I'm a alien from pluto. I've even been spitted at for smiling at a older women by the bus stop. luckily it wasn't a mega loogie, but thats not nice. I guess I just wish people could not be scared of other people and just be cool. But I really enjoyed Ronnie's imput today (even more then usual), and Fausto and Marc can keep kicking it. later.

Great show indeed folks!! Miss Ronnie was on fire! My son and I want to eat at her restaurant but I can't find it. I assure you that we tip better than those lesbians. Marc's formula is my norm although we eat places where i just do my usual $5 minimum since our normal check is less than $10.

I work for a huge corporation and there are various rumors going around about personal websites, my space etc... but to date no real facts. I rest comfortably assured the no one in our HR department could find google.com if I spelled it for them. When I read things on My Space I always take it with a grain of salt .. people write about the "interesting" stuff. 90% of what I do on a daily basis is totally boring but if you read my web stuff you would think I made my living making perfumes, lotions, photography and jewelry ... because that is the part of my life I like to talk about. But I make my living doing very boring financial stuff. It keeps the bills paid and my son in private schools. And should Marc ever divorce Fausto it comes with partner benefits and dental. I'd still be willing to share with Miss Ronnie!

Take Care Guys!!!

I hear what Marc said about Madonna, and I sooo agree.

I respect the bitch, and her business accumen. After all she has been in the music business for a loooong time. But just cos I'm gay does not mean that I have to idolise her. I have gay friends that look at me agast because I dont have EVERY Madonna album, single and calender. I don't.

When did being gay mean that you had to automatically like Madonna? Oh, and don't get me started on Kylie!

Every time I think I've heard the best FOF podcast, another one comes that just blows me away.

I used to be in the whole Rocky Horror scenes years ago, and I realized at some point that there could possibly be photos of me in fishnet stockings and full Frank N. Further drag circulated around. I decided then that I had to live my life the way I wanted to live it and accept whatever consequences would come of it. I work in the porn business and use my real name. I've done music for porn and there are about a dozen DVDs out there with my name plastered on the back. There are pics of me on the internet in full leather, getting tied up, on all fours, and any manner of things some people would consider obcene, even though I am fully clothed and not hurting anyone. I may go by a nickname online but my face is my face, and I've chosen not to hide it. I know I will never run for an office, teach kindergarden or try to work for some sort of highly religious institution. And I hope that I am able to keep working in some vien of art, wether it be porn or not, so I won't have to censor my everyday life from my co-workers. But come what may, I will be proud of who I am and the things I do. I went through too much shame in my younger years to let it affect me now. As Amanda says, I fly my freak flag high.

And Miss Ronnie, I am heading out to a business trip and you have no idea the amount of confidence you have helped me build through these past few months of listening to your wit and wisdom.

Marc and Fausto, what am I gonna do without you guys for the next few days? Ugh. I'll have to catch up on Monday.

Amanda, I know you're busy hun, just want you to know you are missed, you are loved, and you are thought about even when you are not able to be around.

And V-marr, we love you. Stay out of trouble.

Keep up the good work guys.

With much love and puppy treats,
pup don

Happiness! I so loved today's show. It made my day. I kept imagining my more annoying students at school as penny pinching lesbians. There were even a few moments that I swear I channeled Miss Ronnie into my class. I just added Dorado to my trip list for my visit to Chicago next week. I am hoping that I will be able to tip the lovely Ronnie when I eat there.

I am still shocked that after my first little letter I got offered the possibility of coffee. If you are available boys, i'm there from wednesday to saturday next week.

I swear to you all, the FOF cast of stars are so kind to offer up their friendship. I love them so much more every single day.

Miss Ronnie you are truly the diva I adore the most. If I go into plastics after finish med school then I'll be happy to give you your booty but if that happens then it'll be about 10 yrs, sorry. Don't let those lesbians get you down my parter and I live across the street from one of those "chip on the vag" lesbian couple. Thank you guys for putting a smile on my face during my walk to dreaded morning lectures.

Said by: Marc (Tampa, FL) at March 29, 2006 08:36 PM

Brett, Just let us know when you are available. Wednesday or Thursday during the day are good for us. Maybe we'll even get Vmarr to come out.

Said by: Marc Felion at March 29, 2006 09:34 PM

such a interesting podcast and great commentary from everyoneelse.

Said by: Rochelle (from MN) at March 29, 2006 09:39 PM

Rock freaking on!

See what a little love to the FOF cast will get you folks? Cool beans! I might even get to meet the ever amazing V-Marr!

Marc, I'm spring breaking away from those snot nosed high schoolers I teach so I'm free all day. Thursday would be great, but you are the ones honoring me with your greatness so you let me know when and where is best for you, and i'll be there with figurative bells on and my donation for that killer t-shirt in hand.

Once more let me thank you for keeping me sane here in rural northern indiana by reminding me that there really are other intelligent fun people around.

Tanti baci (many kisses),
~bret

Brett- IF you do visit Miss Ronnie at Dorado in Chicago, PLEASE be sure to tip her WELL.

So lets see...

If your bill comes to around $80, be sure to tip her at least $25. She's NOT there to entertain you. This is not "Chucky Cheese" so make sure you tip her well and respect her need for privacy. :)

Too many listeners have come beating the door down recently who come expecting a show and tip her crumbs. The woman has to pay the rent! Booty aint free.

Got thtat?

Said by: Fausto at March 29, 2006 10:03 PM

Thanks for reading my email Ms Ronnie! That statue is the creapiest thing I have ever seen. Love the show!

Said by: Justin Blair at March 29, 2006 10:28 PM

I ain't no cheap tipper. I promise and swear at least $10 from me myself and I (which for the $30-40 is about right).

And I also know that she is there to work not show off for we fans. I will not be upset or dismayed if I don't get to see her up close. And if she is not my server, I still promise the person who is that same tip.

I am a down right stand up kind of guy that way.

~bret who seems to be really chatty on here tonight

Said by: Bret at March 29, 2006 10:38 PM

I loved Miss Ronnie's intro and her waitressing stories.

I used to work as a Pizza Driver... and lemme tell you I never EVER tip less than 20% after that. whether the waitstaff is slow or sassy... I don't care if the waitstaff threw up on me... I'm just like "that waitperson must have been having a bad day... I'd better give them a big tip so their day gets better"

Every waiter and waitress busts their ass, so if you are going out to eat then treat 'em right!

Love ya' Miss Ronnie
