A majestic interplay of color and light
For over twenty years performance artist Debbie Moore has been capturing her life through the very tangible art form of painting. If you can go see her group exbitiion tonight in San Francisco, be sure to check it out. For those who don't live there, almost all of her past works are available online for free to look at.
Featured on the right is a tribute to three legendary art-divas: Annie Sprinkle, Veronica Vera, and Linda Montano.

Okay, I am gonna order my FoF T-shirt and wear it to the exhibition even though I missed the huge opening tonight. Can I suggest some girl cut t-shirts though?

Great show guys. I've actually never really heard of this family previously but the art show I did hear about. My sister and I intend to check it sometime this coming week, probably thursday. We shall take loads of photos of the artwork for you guys. Thanks for saying "LOLA" and not "Lola AND MARY" Marc.... <----sarcasm :-|.

that chick is one twisted fuck, i mean placing a part of your body on someone elses after meditation? get real, grow up, dont provoke people into thinking they can just touch others, what is wrong with you guys? great show but leave the sickos out of it

Whats so wrong in "placing a part of your body on someone else after meditation"? That could describe pretty much anything. Even a kiss Jim.
If you plan on touching a stranger, always ask permission first. If they say "no thank you" respect their wishes. I dont think Debbie was suggesting that anyone should go out and force themselves on anybody. Did you?

Jim, your lovely blue pal on FOF, Fausto, is as creative, fun, cool - and wise - as he is in great part due to Debbie Moore - and as his mom, I can vouch for that! She inspired him to the depths of his being at a crucial moment in his life. Jim, I urge you to reconsider your evaluation of Debbie Moore's words because what she is really saying is, "get in touch with YOUR entire being, physical as well as emotional, and pass that positive energy which you have found in yourself on to some one else". Not such bad advice... For Debbie, monogomous group marriage was an experiment that worked for a good long time, something we can't say about many marriages, gay or straight. My motto is 'live and let live' so long as you bring no harm to others.' Listen closely, Jim, and hear Debbie's deep spirituality, BECAUSE she is so much in spritual and physical touch with her body.
AND, this is a shout out to Miss Ronnie, honey! I heard ya on the March 1 program today (I can't listen except on the weekends) AND I'm coming to Chicago in May, so you and I will get together with Fausto and Marc and record the Mother of all Shows on the FOF! Just you watch! BEST of LUCK on those big tests you're having! Love, Patricia

Fausto- You are fucking genius. You just stepped back with this one and let all of Debbie speak for herself. When I popped on here to post a comment I was just going to leave two words: "oh... my..."
But after viewing her paintings she really does have some migty fine conventional talent. Although I may never truly appreciate the power of slaking the chill by playing a dijuridoo in the nude....

ok fausto, but enforcing your sexuality on others by parading nude around the block just isnt on. All this getting in touch with youir spiritual self is a load of BS, i am happy with who i am and so are 99% of others, Gay or Straight we know who we are.
Art is one thing, Public harrassment is another. I found this person very disturbing and extremely mixed up , to call things an experiment or to make a young child protest in the nude? come on!
Take a look at this artist and what he achieved http://www.lenkiewicz.org/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/

Jim, don't get me started!
Have you ever been to a public nude beach? There are thousands of public nude beaches all over the world, GOVERNMENT SPONSORED (even in Austin Texas!) where people can hang out in their birthday suit if they choose to. Nobody gets hurt any more than on a clothed beach. It's kind of remarkable there is a sign that says "Clothing Optional" in the heart of the bible belt. But it's seen as a tradition in Texas, and Texans are fiercely traditional people.
Whole families are hanging out in the nude, having a great time. Nobody cares, nobody gets hurt.
I have personally met and hanged out with Debbie and her family and they are some of the most loving sweet people you will ever want to meet.
What is disturbing to me is the fact we still don't have health care in this country, that we're wasting so much money, lives, and energy fighting wars that don't many any sense, and that liars crooks and thieves are taking over this country at an alarming rate.
Debbie is highly respected and admired by many women and men in California and has a very healthy relationship with her children.
So it seems the person who's damaged most from their actions would be someone who finds nudity to be distasteful, not the participants themselves.
I mean are we still living in America?

Jim,
I don't think 99% of people are ok with themselves and their body image. People are getting boob jobs, pec implants, nose jobs, teeth whitening, dermabrasion, lyposuction every day. Each year people spend tons of money on "diet" plans and cosmetics. People are spending billions and billions on this stuff. Why? because they are unhappy with who they are and how they look.
If you listened to Debbie's words you'll learn that she and her group did as litte as possible to harrass people. They intentonally moved very slowly through the crowd so they wouldn't be aggressive. Did they surprise some people? I bet they did. Did the harrass them sexually? I doubt it. I'm sure most people were deighted in their presence.

I loved the show. She is pretty amazing. Thanks so much for bring her onto the FOF. I would not have discovered her otherwise.
I'm not sure where Jim is coming from. I listened carefully and as a parent I didn't hear anythng about "forcing" the children to be naked. I know my 6 year old would spend all his time naked if I kept the house warmer. I've been to lots of clothing optional beaches over the years. It really very nice.
