This podcast reminds me of why I love this show so much. How can I not love a show which features such strong and sensitive people?

Victoria has my respect for being such a strong member of the transgendered community. I related to her story of the "drive-by tracting" as I have had that happen to me more than once. While I still lived in Tennessee it was not uncommon for somebody to ask you a seemingly innocent question like directions to go somewhere and then shoving a tract in your hand and driving off. I never got an antigay one like she got, but I was still offended by somebody presuming to know that I needed "saving". All of those tracts made their way into the "round file".

And I must say that the listener's email also made me tear up. I do not share the experience of having a partner with HIV or full-blown AIDS, but I have had family members die from cancer and it hurts to watch it happen. My thoughts and prayers are with this guy.

Fausto, Marc, and company, keep on doing the good work you are doing. You are an inspiration to me and you are making a difference for people everywhere. I finally bought a t-shirt and I will wear it with pride--once this bloody Michigan winter ends. I will also be giving you guys a shoutout on my new podcast that will be debuting soon.

Keep the Feast going!

Once again, an excellent show everyone. My first job out of college back in the early 90's was at a phone sex company that was gay owened and operated. I was going through my coming out while working there and many of my co-workers were hiv positive so while I was learning all about the gay lifestyle, I was also learning about what it was like to live with hiv and aids, and sadly, I did not escape having to witness the consequences of this terrible disease while working there. The best defense we have right now is education. It's people like Victoria who are not afraid to talk about it and be in the public eye who help those with no reference point be unafraid to face this thing head on. Thank you V-mar for all the work you do and thank you Fausto and Marc for having such an awesome show that allows for the reality of life along with the fun.

Oh, and Rose Marie's character's name was Sally. Pickles was the wife of the Morey Amsterdam character, Buddy. :)

LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I've been so behind on listening (like Dag) but it was so great to hear Ms. LaMarr back at the Mic. I've always admired Victoria's brutal honesty about everything she goes through, and I respect her so much for that. I also want to thank you for sharing the beautiful letter from John Carstensen.
