For you lonely souls out there, consider yourself lucky. Plastic surgery as a Valentine's Day present to your loved one is all the rage in China. It seems couples are not only getting the usual fare - facelifts, breast implants, lipo - but a handful of couples are being reported to getting their faces done to look more like each other.
People, this is taking wearing the same clothes in public to a whole new level. Everyone knows that people who live together wind up looking like each other anyways, so why hasten the process? Even pet owners look like thier dogs/cats/birds but nobody is thinking of getting a nose job to look more like fido!
On today's show Miss Ronnie comes to "debreif" us all about our fabulous Meet 'n Greet last Thursday at Clark's on Clark. We talk about what a great time we had with the listeners that came to the Meet 'n Greet. Hot guys, fun guys and wonderful ladies. Wow, what a time! Wow guys!!! It was great hearing you talk about my son and I. Someday you should trip out this way (Near Oak Park) to wonder through the cosmetics lab that seems to be taking over my kitchen.
I also really appreciate the Itunes links to the music. I've now downloaded all of todays plus the new Willie Nelso Gay Cowboy song (Itunes only "Cowboys are Frequently, Secretly ..."). It all goes into the FOF mix on my Ipod. It joins Eric Himan and Jen Zias. I bought the Lavender Country CD but its in a seperate Mix as it doesn't go well with the rest.

I'm a gay Asian American man in Davis, Calif. I love your podcast but I was offended by the way you pronounced Xinghua, it's not "XING-HU-WA" it's "XING-HWA." If you're going to talk about Asian issues, I would appreciate it if you talked to an educated gay Asian man first and consider which specific ethnicity is being discussed.
I did love the way Miss Ronnie talked about the epicanthic fold surgery. Asian men deserve the right to feel sexy too and surgery like that constantly reminds us that we're de-sexualized in the West.
