FOF #244 - Without You We're Nothing - 02.10.06

Dozens upon dozens of hot guys and cool chicks showed up for our first "Meet and Greet" at Clark's on Clark last night! Whoo! Whoo, indeed. It was pure bliss for the Feast of Fools gang: Victoria Lamarr, Amanda Steinstein, Miss Ronnie, Link Pinks, Bill Haddad (the voice of the Crystal Skull), Ryan Slasinki, Sal E and Alan Gentry to hang out with all these fine folks. Thank you.
We also got to hang with several big time podcasters; Wendy from Gabber Jaw, and Tom from Ramble Redhead. We even had a listener, John who come all the way from the O.C. Everyone was so fabulous, generous, lovely and fun. It was embolding and warm to see them face to face. Did I mention thanks?
Lots of love to all of you who showed up. We'll be posting some really sexy pics on Monday, as well as a hot video of V-Mar dressed as Ann Coulter who sits on a beautiful cake that was made by Keith of KeithCakes.com. For now, I'll be nursing a strong hangover from drinking lots of Blue Long Islands, thanks to Rob Fox from the Clarks' on Clark bar.
Please enjoy this short taste of our party. Thanks! Because without you, we are NOTHING! We love you.

Fausto, Marc, Ronnie, Amanda, Victoria, Ryan, Sal-E, Bill, Alan, all the listeners and everyone else I may have forgotten to mention...
The Meet and Greet was an absolute blast. Thank you for all you do for your listeners-- from your humor to your interviews, to your discussions of interesting topics, to out-and-out, pure, drop-dead-laughing-your-ass-off entertainment... Feast of Fools Podcast is THE BEST out there, and I-- and the rest of the listeners out here-- can not possibly thank you enough. You have an eternally loyal listener here. I am proud to say that I am but one of THOUSANDS of others out there... and yet what's so great about that is that even though there are thousands of us out here, we each feel like we matter to you. And that makes us want to listen even more.
Here's to another fantastic year. Congratulations!

I have to agree with RcktMan - I went to the party last night and it was amazing! It was great to meet the group who provides the best podcast in the world.
I have been a loyal listener for months and I have to say that your show helped inspire me to do my own show and I hope one day to have the loyal listeners like you do. I wish you all the best and can't wait to help celebrate your 2nd anniversary!

Well after the last two wonderful comments how can I possibly let you guys know how amazingly great you are in a unique way!? I'm looking forward very much to the Meet and Greet in NYC. I was disappointed at first when I saw that your show today was only 15 minutes, but after listening to it I never felt more a part of the FOF community than today. Keep up the amazing work guys!

Hola amigos:
I have been listening to you guys since i heard of podcasting and have become a huge fan over here in Mexico City.
I had been listening about your meet and greet at clarks and clarks and was feeling utterly frustrated at such an impossible opportunity to meet all of you, (especially Ms. Ronnie) over there when I downloaded and listened to the episode 244. When Amanda Steinstein read my name I just couldn't believe it. I was walking down the street and had to stop, dead on my feet and go back just to make sure I had gotten it right. I had. Amanda Steinstein, THE most gorgeous woman in podcasting had used her saliva to say my name. I was just amazed and loving it. Suddenly I felt I had been with you guys in Chicago at the bar having a drink with you and wrestling some bitch away from Ms. Ronnie's cazuela (no one would get that but me).
All i have to say is Thank you for saying my name, for making me a part of the FOF, Thanks for bringing my spirit to C&C, Thanks for being on the net and for a great show.
Tip: Get Ms. Ronnie and Amanda together on the show more often they are hilarious on their own but together they are just UNBELIEVABLE. and also, i would more than gladly pay a bunch of mexican pesos and even send you some pozole or tamales (sugar free for Ms. Ronnie), in order to get those two in a tub of chocolate.

Juan, querido...
This is exactly why I love Feast of Fools, and all the folks who join us at the feast. Sometimes it feels like we're just sitting around talking amongst ourselves, but I love knowing that we're reaching people like you, mi amigo, and that everyone is welcome to the table.
If I made your day by saying your name, you made *my* day just by listening.
And also by putting yourself on the Frappr map so I could find you.
Besos,
-AS
PS: To everyone else who met and gret us on Thursday...you are the BEST! Even those of you there only in spirit...we felt you. In fact, we felt you up. Hope you don't mind.

As usual another great episode. I just wish I could have been there. It sounded like it was a blast. I really would like to thank all you guys (Fausto, Marc, Miss Ronnie, Amanada, V-Mar, Ryan and Sal-E) for getting me through another week of the graveyard shift. You and my iPod are a life saver. All my best, Eric R. - aka The George Bush loving, War Supporting, Limbaugh listening, Gay Texas Republican.

Eric, everyone knows Rush Limbaugh loves to listen to the Feast of Fools podcast, when he's not busy drowining kittens and eating baby mice (whole of course.)
Where's MY oxycontin? I'll get Hortensia on it.

I see that the Vice President has declared open season on Texan Republic Lawyers. Better watch out Eric R .. Cheney could be coming there next. Also nice to see all my tax dollarsat work paying so the VP cab hunt with a tax payer provided medical support team and ambulance on call. But they're only cutting health care for the poor not the VP

Fausto,
Limbaugh drowning cats? I don't think so. Oxycontin? Jury is still out on that. I won't dismiss the possiblity. I don't agree with some of what he says, but he makes me laugh. Just like the FOF. Besides I do believe that someone on the other side of the aisle from Rush knows a little about drowning. Unforutnately it was a person and not a cat.
To Eric M.- If Cheney comes looking for me it will take a lot more than birdshot to do me any damage. My Frappr photo says it all.
