FOF #216 - Tips and Trends for 2006 - 01.03.06

The visionary "kweer" puppeteer and performance artist Marsian De Lellis a modern day Truman Capote, used to be really fascinated with Michael Jackson and his freaky celebrity culture.
So much in fact, that he predicted the King of Pop's decay of his face and carreer with puppet shows, stage performances and papers a decade ago. What inspired him to do this at a time when he was still putting out chart topping albums? It was the ground breaking book "Michael Jackson Was My Lover: The Secret Diary of Jordie Chandler" which as of this post sells for $192.00 on Amazon.com and Marsian is the proud owner of two (count them TWO) copies of the book.
Listen to Marsian, Marc and Fausto as they discuss Tom Carvel and his ice-cream cake empire, cookiepuss, fudgie the whale, and his daughter Linda Carvel.
And of course, we'll be sharing our forcasts for the hot new topics, trends, and ideas that will take the world by storm in 2006. Colors? Celebrities? Sex? It's all here.
Visit Marsian's .mac homepage here. He want's you all to know he's a "savvy puppet mogul, plushie-advocate and gutter-femme icon." In case you didn't know. Check out these fabulous photos of Marsian and his puppets.

Fun show! And "a modern day Truman Capote, " is a perfect way to describe De Lellis.
I did want to point out Jeanine Pirro dropped out of the race to defeat Hillary Clinton for NY senator in 2006:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/21/ny.pirro/
She stood no chance against HRC and knew it. The whole thing makes me shake my head because the Republican party does this shit all the time - it's like, "oh, you want to vote for a woman? OK, then - here's one! Her name is Jeanine Pirro! Vote for our woman and not the other one!"
The GOP did the same thing in IL back in '04 and tried to run that insufferable asshole, Alan Keyes, against Barak Obama for senator, obviously mainly because Keyes was black! Again, it was like, "Here's a black fella for you to vote for! What's the difference? They're both black so vote for ours!" What a bunch of maroons...

Eric, I really like how you explain that. 'Lickans think the whole world can be divided and sold off, bit by bit, like nobody can tell the difference.
Like politicians can be hand picked and appointed and nobody is going to tell.

"Like politicians can be hand picked and appointed and nobody is going to tell."
Exactly. I mean, who ever *heard* of such a thing? Especially here in the USA? Yeah, right. Hell, I still refer to him as the "President-Select"...
