FOF #179 - Miss Ronnie Returns - 10.21.05

Phat is where it's at! Our favorite B.M.W. (that's Big Mexican Woman) Miss Ronnie comes over to chat with her homeys Marc and Fausto about such delicious topics like Scientologists and Tom Cruise, obesity, phat-ness and her friends who run a tanning salon.
If you listen to the podcast there is a free coupon inside! (Tell 'em Miss Ronnie from the Feast of Fools sent ya.)
For your enjoyment and arousal, here's a photo of Miss Ronnie.

Miss Ronnie Kicks ass! I was busting a gut the whole time! She has wonderful comic timing and Marc and Fausto work with her perfectly: "We're expecting" "... a Pekenese"
Otherwise, on the weight of America issue, I think a lot of the problem is that people are a lot less active then they used to be, and it's exacerbated by the fact that people have less time and more money.
Before, what would one do in an office? They would slave over the typewriter and get up every 10 minutes to pull a file or send a fax or... now you sit in front of the computer until lunchtime, and if you have to make it quick-n-cheap because you didn't have time to construct a sandwhich, the fast food restaraunt is right around the corner. The "convenience" of ubiquitous computerized technology and cookie cutter restaraunts means we can do more while we move less...
Also, what's happening to kids? they are sitting down and puttering about on the internet or playing video games and probably don't even have a yard in which to tear around. I was damned lucky I found Dance Dance Revolution or I would probably still be overweight and hating myself for it.
It's the double edged sword of American prosperity: Americans have invested themselves heavily on bleeding edge technology, it's just that they get really involved with it before they take good reading on what it does to their lifestyle and how to adjust. Remember to bring lunch with you and take a walk occasionally.
Otherwise, love the show and am antertained greatly. Thanks!

Wickedly good show today - Miss Ronnie is a riot! :-)
Now, Marc - motorcycles are NOT dangerous. Left to their own devices, they're perfectly harmless. Mine's parked out front at the moment, minding its own business, and the only threat it offers is that it might topple on you if walk into it too quickly.
Motorcycles aren't dangerous - *people* are dangerous. People riding beyond their skill level - without knowledge of or attention to the road surface and weather conditions - on motorcycles that are too powerful for them - and without remembering the safe rider's mantra, i.e. "every other road user is trying to kill me" - *they're* dangerous.
And people who are not motorcyclists - car drivers, truck drivers, pedestrians who don't *look* at what's going on around them - who think that because they're safe in their metal safety cage that everybody else can go beat their meat - *they're* dangerous.
Motorcycles are as harmless as spring lambs. Stoopid, ignant people are the problem.
Here endeth today's sermon from the tranny biker bitch from hell... ;-)

Great show guys! Miss Ronnie is a riot! The pic and article in OUT is great! Congratulations!! I made it my desktop photo as well! Marc (with a 'c') you do not look fat in that pic, you both look HOT! If you ever do a show from L.A. we have to do a three-way! Have I used enough exclamation points today?! I am hopped up on caffeine!!! I'm already looking forward to tomorrow's show!! Hugs and stuff, Joel

Great show as always. I just have a T-shirt question. Can international listeners just use your paypal link of 40 dollars or should we add extra for the postage, and if so how much?

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Miss Ronnie loves you all, and she's not afraid to show it. Eric, a lil' extra would be nice to cover costs. How much do you think it would be to ship to Taiwan. Europe is about $10.

When I heard this show today it felt like I was going to bust by gut laughing. I absolutly love Miss Ronnie.. please don't let this be her last show! Too bad this wasn't recorded on a video..I would have loved to see all of this including Marc's face from Miss Ronnie's sexual comments toward him. Keep up the great work!!

Ronnie ~ I could listen to you 24/7....you have the most uplifting energy. Thanks for the tanning coupon...I will put that to good use -- so sweet of you to set this up.
Marc ~ you do not look fat in that photo...you both look like movie stars
Fausto ~ Please invite Ronnie back...this really was a fantastic show (I know I say this all the time), but all three of you click really well and it might sound cheesey but you created a little bit of magic with today's show. Bravo!
p.s. that ending song was very cool

I guess I don't have to tell you that Miss Ronnie rocks! You found one hell of a radio personality there Fausto. She's quick and opinionated and original and fiesty and funny as hell!
She needs her own show!

Ronnie can be funny but... she needs to get her accent down. In #179 she sounded very African American and in #180 quite Hispanic. Help her FOF'rs
