FOF #155 - Serving in the Military - 09.19.05

Joel spends his days working on a huge naval air craft carrier that houses over 5000 people. As a gay man serving in the military, he needs to be careful that the wrong people don't find out about his sexuality, but he is happy to talk about it with us!
Listen to this compelling interview as Fausto, Marc and V-Marr chat with this sexy seaman about his love for podcasts, men, and his struggle to finish his last year serving in the Navy so he can get an honorable discharge.
One interesting thing that was revealed during the interview was that Joel had to deal with an MP (thats a Military cop) who happens to be a Falcon Video porn star. Can you guess who? We're stumped.

Joel sounds like a hot guy. Can you get me his number? I know I shouldn't mess with a military man, but it just feels so good.

Boy, and this is SIGHT UNSEEN. So many email's I've gotten for a date with this sweet young man.
I have to say though, his personality is one of the most attractive things about him. And he don't look too bad either.
Sigh... we're all here at the Feast of Fools sighing over sweet Joel, who's struggling in the Navy.

It was my pleasure to answer all your questions and
talk about my time in the military. I hope that
everyone is doing well in the windy city.
I did forget to ask one question. Who's the lady in
the back of VMar's vidcast talking about the food
stamps?

That is Victoria Lamarr's mother Bridget. She has a unique lovely voice.
Whenever Madge, me, V-mar, Marc, or anyone else here in Chicago goes "HELLO" (low scraggly voice) you can thank Bridget for that.
Bridget worked for a while as a night receptionist at V-Marr's apartment S.R.O. (Single Room Occupancy, it's an apt. building for low income folks) Whenever we would call V-Marr to chat, Bridget would answer the phone and screach "Hello, Northmare."
That's to the best of my knowledge where that "voice" comes from. We all imitate each other. Imitation is one of the ways humans learn.
HELLO...

Fab show as always Fausto! You know I love the military boys. I have friends on carriers all over the place after they leave Nuke school here in Charleston. Joel sounds hot!

I found the show interesting. I wonder how he would feel after killing somebody? Or has he done this already to prove that GAYS and LESBIANS can kill just as well as the straight people? I really had to stop listening.

Great show! Joel I wish you all the best and up the great work! Keep doing shows on gays in the military. There are more than you think! Check out a great book called Conduct Unbecoming by Randy Shilts - great book on gays in the military!
