Another great show, guys; and more respect to Amanda... funny, caring and intelligent by turns. You know, at this rate, what with Victoria's dignified performance from her sick bed and Amanda's consistently fabby contributions, people are going to start thinking that us transgendered types are more than just pretty faces... ;-)

Amanda was GREAT. This WAS a great show.

Does Amanda read this comment board? Because I need to axe her something (Sci-Fi related).

I agree with Ms. A that america really shows its no-class side be perpetuating this gluttonous venue. Christ look at how fast are asses are already. AND UTAH asses are even bigger! You could move in!!!
I so love the freaky deaky news from you all. Try to dig up some shit on your favorite person in politics honies.
Ciao for now,

John...
I would post your question to Amanda, she reads these pages.
Said by: Fausto at July 14, 2005 01:53 PM
will there be a Marc + Fausto kebab do ya think?
Said by: pasquale o'brien at July 14, 2005 03:21 PM
Hey Marc... do you remember awhile back when you said something about wanting to see a big dick on an asian guy? I think I found a contender.... would you like me to send it to you?
Said by: mike hipp at July 14, 2005 03:58 PM
Don't let Wanda listen to this podcast... Asian and a big eater? It'd be the perfect match!
Said by: Jamey at July 14, 2005 05:17 PM
A sci-fi question for moi? Bring it, John M., if that is your real name.
However, I must insist that you use the proper term, SF, instead of sci-fi. Asimov himself preferred "SF," partly because it can also stand for "speculative fiction," but mostly because you don't pronounce it "science fike-tion."
What is a Marc + Fausto kebob? Is that what I get if I put Marc and Fausto on a stick with some onions and red bell peppers? Delish!
Ciao, love monkeys!

Sex offenders are the new niggers. Even with all the actual studies showing the lower recidivism rates for convicted (and treated) sex offenders are much lower than for the general criminal population, even of serious crimes. But who cares. They're scum who deserve to die... right?

Two Words: MORE AMANDA! Loved the show guys - as usual. XO
Said by: Aaron C at July 14, 2005 09:51 PM
Hey, "A Nonny Mouse"...
If I spewed crap like that, I wouldn't use my name either.
I can't decide if you're trying to offend black people or sex offenders, but I don't really care, because you succeeded in offending me, and that's fucking hard to do.
I'm not going to say the justice system is colorblind, but there is no excuse for racist name-calling.
As far as I'm concerned, the only "scum" are the A Nonny Mouse types who use offensive words to troll on message boards. You're not here to make a point, your here to stir up trouble.
I'm sorry your life is so small.
Ignore him, love monkeys.

Nonny- Are you a sex offender? I think sex offenders are hotter than abortion doctors. mmm...
What I want to know is are there fetus eating contetsts?
Said by: Daryl at July 15, 2005 02:03 AM
Amanda, have you read The Sparrow and Children Of God? If so, I have a followup. And yes, John is my given name; were I to use a fake name (in keeping with yesterday's theme?) it would have been Owen Meany.
Said by: John M. at July 15, 2005 04:51 AM
Sorry John...
Most of my SF background is in Golden Age and pre-Reagan-era books, with the exceptions of John Barnes and Orson Scott Card, though I'm burning out a little on his Mormon evangelizing.
But these look good...I'm always into the terrestrial religious interpretation of extraterrestrial contact and the inevitable defeat of the faithful under the circumstances.
I'm sure you've read A Canticle for Lebovitz. No aliens, but good faithfuls.

Ah, the shopping list.... I am familiar, yes....
...but not so much with O.S. Card... he just doesn't ring my doorbell (Harlan E. is more my style). Actually, I've been going apewire over a fantasy series lately, The Song of Fire and Ice books by George R.R. Martin. I can't recommend them enough, and I'm not a fantasy fan. Treat yourself to them, why don't you?
Anyway, I am trying to thin out my library, and I have signed, first edition copies of Sparrow and CoG, which I would love to send you if you'd be genuinely interested in them. I'd hate to dump my babies in a used bookstore, but it's a chore finding them good homes.
Otherwise, hope all's well... have a great weekend!
Said by: John M. at July 15, 2005 01:33 PM
Put those puppies on eBay, John!
I don't read anything first edition or signed, because they just get ruined when I fall asleep reading them and then roll over onto them in the middle of the night. Okay, afternoon.
But thanks for the generous offer.
Love,

Another fabulous show - I heart the feast of fools! Just thought I'd let you know that the name of the creepy guy who killed all those nurses in the 60s was Richard Speck. There was a really scary article about him in the Chicago Tribune magazine once..
Said by: Mel J at July 16, 2005 10:02 AM
Oooh thanks Mel! Yep. Chicago is chock full of legendary muderers.
Said by: Fausto at July 18, 2005 02:51 AM
yes John I would love to see it. Please send right away!
