Feast of Fools #101 - A Low Life in High Heels, part 2 - 06.29.05

PodcastHolly Woodlawn returns! You wanted more, you got it! Today we have part two of our fabulous conversation with THE Andy Warhol Superstar, the legendary Holly Woodlawn who talks about what kind of food she would be made from if Madame Tussot's Wax Museum were to make a sculpture of her out of food (like the chocolate Elton John statue.)

Also on today's show Marc and Fausto talk about the brand-new iTunes 4.9 and why it's getting all the podcasters (people like us) panties in a bunch. But don't worry, we're not going anywhere! (Part 1 of 2)

Check out these fab pics of Holly, courtesy of the Holly Woodlawn Archives.

Thank JESUS for the FOF! Your show makes me all tingly down there and sometimes causes air to come out from inside my MUNT on account of all the podcast-induced-laughter.
I LOVE your interviews with Holly--She is so fab! Yummy Yummer-sons!

I just noticed that your default feed is the atom feed and not the RSS2.0 podcast feed. That means if people subscribe using safari or possibly firefox (they have choices), then you won't get those subscribers tracked on feedburner. I suggest that you route all of your feeds to the feedburner feed or just get rid of the atom and rss1.0 feeds (that's what i did). 7

You mean by deleting them from the MT templates page?

Said by: Fausto at June 29, 2005 11:25 AM

No- in the links that look like this, below, on your page, change the href=" to href="http://feedburner.blahblahbla/feastoffools"/>
In other words, your forcing them to go to feedburner instead of to the default local feed.

atom.xml" />
rsd.xml" />

Your show continues to amaze me. Your show has been spectacular this month. I have been subscribed since the first show, so I hope I am included in those 19 listeners. You really have raised the bar for everyone.

As of this moment, "Lucky Bitch Radio" is at 98 in the iTunes Top 100... and Dawn and Drew are at 99! Yeah; shove it to them, Wanda! ;-)

I realise that whenever you name your "seven listeners" or "nineteen listeners" your tongues are firmly in cheeks (or asses) but, y'know, you *do* actually have other listeners. Maybe you might acknowledge those who even go so far as, you, *commenting on your web site* (in an attempt to encourage others to do the same); or even support your show in "other ways" (although I won't be any more explicit, other than to say, remember, *pink*)

And isn't Holly Woodlawn a blast? Great interview, Fausto and Marc; as Robert Coddington said in his comment on Part 1, you really got great audio out her.
