This short reminds me a lot of Todd Haynes classic masterpiece "Superstar" where he tells the story of Karen Carpenter with nothing but cheap sets and Barbie Dolls. Several lawsuits from Mattell and the Carpenter family have forced this film underground, but I'm sure you can get a copy somewhere on eBay.

Great Websites: The Passion of the Lego Men

If anybody should accuse me of having WAY too much time on my hands, look at the Rev. Brendan Powell Smith's hilarious lego-bible site.

The Brick Testament has most of the gory, oddball, stories of the old testament illustrated magnificently with lego blocks.

Check out the scary illustrations on homosexuality. transvestites, Noah's ark flooding, Jesus looking gay, or the "passion" of the Christ.

The bible: great scary children's literature, terrible as a government policy manual.

Your face is a weapon against disease.

On todays podcast, we talked about Madonna's face being licensed for a brand of "Madonna" condoms. Here's the link to the Condomania site. I think having the icy image of a young Madonna Ciccone on a condom is probably more effective in keeping sex from happening in the first place, and therefore very effective as a contraceptive device. Even Gene Simmons has his own brand, which even seems a bit gay even for me.

I wonder what birth control products are being considered to be licensed by other celebrities (living or dead)? A Orson Welles branded sponge? A Barbara Streisand branded vasectomy? How about Elvis Presley birth control pills?
