This week: Live coverage of the final Star Wars movie, with Triumph-inspired conversations with Sci-fi fans waiting in line just to see the last mega-film George Lucas says he will ever make. Next week: Fausto talks to Jil Sobule and dozens of other folksy queers at Scott Free's annual Queer IS Folk music festival at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Trust me, it's better than it sounds.

I just saw star wars iii today and loathed it - I hate the prequels I'm sorry I'm a huge star wars fan and I'm gonna pretend George didn't make these greenscreen prequels.

Sorry to hear that about Star Wars III, although I'm with you that the prequels suck. Worse than suck, even. I saw the first two prequels, and I had no idea what was going on. Too many people I didn't know talking about too many other people I didn't know. I couldn't keep up with all the names.
I won't be seeing this one until it's out on DVD. I rarely go out to movies anymore. They show way too many trailers; the movie starts a half-hour after the published showtime, and the buzz you got in the car in the parking lot has lost its edge by then, so what's the point?
