Bette Midler gets around the stage in a mechanical wheelchair in Kiss My Brass, and Bette disses Cher heavily in that show, so maybe that's what Cher was getting at. Remember the Bette vs. Cher Celebrity Showdown on MTV, where Bette attacked Cher's face with construction equipment and it wouldn't budge.
