Hello Fausto and Mark,

I am a straight male and I listen to your show. I listen to your show because it is entertaining and you have such a cast of characters. Most of all I like the interviews, serious issues like Meth episodes.

I am impressed by how candid you and your guests are on the show. It is cool to listen to people talk about the crazy lifestyle they have lived.

Your time will come when sponsors are knocking down your door. Just be patient and be nice to Madge.
It sounds like you and Richard are good friends, so don't lose that. So you have to look out for each other.

I nearly forgot, I like when you and Victoria L walk the streets in Chicago and talk to people in stores. It is an on the spot interview that can lead anywhere.
Hopefully you will do more of those street interviews.
Well done Fausto, Mark & Victoria L
Regards,
Timroth

Hi there Timroth! Thanks for your kind words and praise. Is there something I'm missing about Richard? He's probably mad because my cell phone blacked out, and we though he went back to sleep at the apple store on friday.

I am Richard's #1 fan, and always will be. I was there from the very beginning and will be there untill the bitter end, no matter how insane his films or his words may become. Rich or poor, loved by millions or hated by thousands, I'm there for him.

I've been listening to you for about 2 weeks now and this is my second favourite show.

Very funny, as always. Please do keep it up!

Well I'm going to have to be careful about where I listen to FOF. This morning I was listening in a cafe through headphones and verily, coffee filled my entire sinus region when I convulsed into laughter at today's opener. May the good lord lay all sorts of blessings on you and Rosie O'D.

Oh yeah - one more thing. It may shock you to learn that at least one provincial government in Canada was sterilizing mentally disabled folks as late as the early 60's. These days, they're paying compensation to affected survivors, and it's a real sore spot for the otherwise bland province of Manitoba.

Said by: Todd at May 2, 2005 04:33 PM

Indiana had a similar law on the books until the 1960s where mentally disabled and criminals were sterilized. It was only used after the law was passed but as time wore on, it was used less and less.

About halfway through this show you talk about everyone being crazy in this day and age (in America). Like I always say, if you're not crazy, then there's something wrong with you.

All I could do when I saw the "flashback" scenes is to think of our favorite Minnesotan Wanda Wisdom, who bore an UNCANNY resemblance to the child actress who plays Rosie as a kid.

Did you also know that former Police member Stuart Copeland composed the music? AND this movie was directed by the campy and delicious Anjelica Huston. So will there be a sequel?

Said by: Fausto Fernos at May 2, 2005 04:49 PM

So do autistic people have children then? I'd like to see what those kids look like.

Said by: Fausto Fernos at May 2, 2005 04:51 PM

I'd imagine they'd look like regular children since the jury's still out on what causes autism.

Your "excerpts" interspersed with the narration from the actual telecast were, I think, the highlight of the whole show...why haven't the studios come a-knockin' on your door??

(With contracts, I mean, NOT subpeonas...:-))

Never say never. 2005 is going to be THE watershed year, and not just for podcasting either. That's all I can say without violating my non-disclosure agreement. (As soon as I get one I can sign! ha ha)

I have a feeling something exciting is blowing in the wind, or I just farted.

Said by: Fausto Fernos at May 2, 2005 08:49 PM

Mmm....maybe it's an exciting fart. AND something exciting in the wind, also...! (Have you seen bright lights in the night sky? Have you started making mountains out of mashed potatoes yet?) :-)

I thought she was not autistic but retarded. An artistic retard.
